Design on James is an interior design and retail showroom, 15 minutes north of Tauranga city. Our quality furniture displays and settings provide wonderful inspiration, and they are also for sale.

Lynette Lochhead, interior designer and managing director, is skilled at developing an early empathy with our clients, tuning into their projects and assisting them to identify the direction needed to fulfil their vision. This includes a total consideration of colour schemes, kitchen/bathroom design, flooring options, furniture layout, curtaining and individual accessorising. The quality and variety of new products available, and Lynette’s individual attention ensures that every project achieves the best possible look.

At Design on James, we believe that everyone who is building or renovating, refurbishing or wanting a special piece of furniture, should use an interior designer to help co-ordinate their project. Lynette works alongside the client, giving them the courage to make the right choices. She has been designing for 15 years and her solid industry experience shows through with her well thought out schemes and creativity.

Paula Hardie is our office manager at Design on James and is an integral part of the operation here. She is always happy to help you with bookings or enquiries about products.
